SOUSAwrks was born from real work, real results, and a deep respect for what it takes to grow a brand with integrity.

I began my career in 2013, working in-house for a local brick-and-mortar business in Austin, Texas. Starting from the ground up, I built their Shopify website, launched their social platforms, and established their email marketing system—learning in real time what it means to connect creativity, strategy, and execution. Over the next four years, that business scaled an average of 400% year over year, ultimately expanding into three additional locations.

More importantly, I learned how to build systems that support the whole business, not just isolated marketing efforts. By developing intentional content calendars and strategically timed product releases, marketing became less chaotic and more harmonious—aligned across platforms, seasons, and goals. Creativity had structure. Data had meaning. And the work felt sustainable.

As systems became more refined and efficient, I grew curious about applying this approach beyond a single brand. That curiosity became SOUSAwrks.

Since then, I’ve served as Creative Director within another local agency and as Marketing Director for one of my clients, Catori Life, while continuing to grow SOUSAwrks alongside those roles. Eventually, I made the intentional decision to step away from both, to fully devote my energy to a small number of aligned clients and the work that feels most honest and impactful.

In November of 2024, I made another very deliberate decision to focus SOUSAwrks entirely on email marketing and step away from social media services altogether. This shift was rooted in quality and value above all else. After more than a decade in the industry, it became undeniable that the greatest and most sustainable impact lives within email marketing—and it’s where my expertise runs deepest. At that time, I brought on a specialist in email automations to complement my creative and strategic direction with exceptional backend flow architecture, triggers, and segmentation. In our first year working together, we grew one client’s email channel by 95% from the previous year—a result that reflects the power of focus, collaboration, and doing the work with intention. This is the impact we’re proud to offer, and the work we’re committed to standing behind.

Today, SOUSAwrks operates as a highly intentional email marketing house built on trust, authenticity, and long-term partnership. We don’t believe in churning through clients or applying the same strategies across the board.
